THE WHO'S WHO OF BRITISH MUSIC IN NORTH WEST LONDON
The list of iconic British music artists who have lived and recorded in NW London is so extensive it is impossible to cover them all in one walk. Starting at West Hampstead tube station on the Jubilee Line we will retrace the steps trodden by musicians as diverse as Dusty Springfield, Joan Armatrading, Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Adam Ant and.... not forgetting a little known group... The Beatles!
THE ROYAL FAMILY AND THEIR HAUNTS
On this tour we will go to the places where the Royals have partied, dined and relaxed. NOT INCUDED ON THIS TOUR - Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace but you will learn more about the "real" royals and their loves and losses.
KING'S CROSS - It isn't easy being green
The 67 acre site, formerly known as the Railway Lands, is being developed with a sensitivity to the environment, residents visitors and workers. With the involvement of well-known English garden designer Dan Pearson (winner of Best in Show at 2015 Chelsea Flower Show), these new open spaces, squares and general planting, are fast becoming the "destination" for those with an appetite for good living and the good life.

On this unique walk around the City of London I will show you the places - old and new - with special connections to many distinguished, famous and sometimes infamous womem.
The women we will encounter on the walk include some of.... : Elizabeth Fry; Agatha Christie, Margaret Thatcher, Lady Jane Grey, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and even inclues mention of Madonna's connection with the City of London! These tales of the City will be retold through their endlessly fascinating lives.
FLASH BANG WALLOP! LONDON: THE CITY IN FILM
The iconic streets and buildings which make up the historic City of London have often appeared in newsreels and television dramas. The FLASH BANG WALLOP! tour concentrates on locations which appear in many of our best-loved films, giving you the opportunity to stand on the spot where the film stars themselves once stood.
Some of the films featured on the walk include: Mary Poppins, V for Vendetta, The Queen, Harry Potter and Bridget Jones's Diary. London is instantly recognisable in many scenes but through the magic of film the City has been transformed into some surpirsing and varied guises.
A-Z OF ST. JOHN'S WOOD. BEER, BATTLES AND...THE BEATLES
This smart, desirable area of North West London offers some real gems to the intrepid tourist. On this walking tour I'll show you many "firsts" achieved in the area. We'll cross the world-famous (and now listed!) zebra crossing at Abbey Road, see the former site used for rehearsals of a recreation of a 12th century jousting tournament - complete with stories of exiled French Emperors on horseback. Added to that we'll walk along one of the most exclusive shopping streets of London with its designer shops and gastronomic delights.
GHOULS, GHOSTS AND GORE
This ever-popular tour theme will introduce you to the blood-curdling stories of bygone days, including the horrific death suffered by William Wallace - Scottish patriot; the bodysnatchers' pub; the station used by the travelling public on their way to their favourite entertainment of the day - public execution; the She-Wolf of France; the pub where the condemned had their last drink before execution; Deadman's Walk; the creature which still stalks the City; the marketplace where martyrs were boiiled alive and see where the traitors' heads were stuck on spikes.
Jews have a long history in London - going back to the Middle Ages and we'll hear their stories and see the places where they lived and work. London's Jews come from all walks of life, politics, finance, artists, boxers and the tour will include stories of some of ......
